    DESCRIPTION

INDIAN WAY es una “foot movie” (una “road movie” a pie), una película con actores indios hablada en Inglés Hindi y Tamil, un drama íntegramente a rodar 100% en localizaciones naturales en India el próximo año 2017. La historia: dos hombres cruzando a pie Tamil Nadu de Este a Oeste. 


La premisa: el nacimiento de una amistad entre ellos en una historia de supervivencia y superación. El guión está en su séptima versión y es el definitivo.

INDIAN WAY is a “foot movie” (instead of a “road movie”), a film with Indian actors, spoken in Tamil, Hindy and English, a drama that will be shot 100% in natural locations in India the next year 2017. The story: two Indian men crossing by feet Tamil Nadu from East to West. The premise: the birth of a friendship between them, helping each other to survive. The script is in its seventh version, which is the final one.

Nuestro largometraje se rodará en localizaciones naturales con gente del lugar. Seremos un equipo reducido para captar con facilidad y agilidad la idiosincrasia real de lugares vivos y auténticos. El equipo técnico de "Indian Way" está formado por: David Blanco (director), Kiko Moreno (productor ejecutivo en España), Darshan Mehta  (jefe de producción en India), Manish Gray (asistente a la producción), Eva Torres (directora de arte), Dennis Wheatley (postproducción de sonido), Roi Rodríguez (transmedia producer) y Ferran Cabré (community manager).

 
Our film will be shot in natural locations with real people. We will be a small team with a small camera to easily capture the idiosyncrasies of actual living in authentic places. 


The technical team of "Indian Way" are: David Blanco (director), Kiko Moreno (executive producer from Spain), Darshan Mehta  (production controller from India), Manish Gray (production assistant), Eva Torres (art director), Dennis Wheatley (sound post-production), Roi Rodríguez (transmedia producer) and Ferran Cabré (community manager).

ACTORES PRINCIPALES

    THE MAIN ACTORS

Virendra Saxena, actor

Uno de los protagonistas, Virendra Saxena, es un actor muy conocido en India. Después de haber leído el guión de “Indian Way” estaba muy sorprendido con el proyecto, repetidamente nos felicitó ya que habíamos sido capaces de capturar con detalle la real idiosincrasia india. Virendra cree que tenemos una historia maravillosa que contar.

One of them, Virendra Saxena, is a well known actor in India. He was very surprised after reading the script INDIAN WAY, he praised it repeatedly, saying that it was amazing, that I had captured in perfect detail the Indian character, he was more than enthusiastic about the project. He thinks we have a wonderful story.

El otro protagonista, Vikas Shrivastav, es un actor en alza y un diamante en bruto. Hasta ahora ha interpretado papeles secundarios en films de acción y está deseoso de demostrar sus dotes con un papel dramático, rodando un papel protagonista en el largometraje europeo. El 17 de marzo de 2013 se estrenó su 1er largometraje como protagonista en “Beehad”, una producción de Bollywood.

Vikas Shrivastav, actor

The other actor is Vikas Shrivastav, a new talent, a rough diamond and extremely motivated artist. So far, he has played main roles in action movies, and he wishes to demonstrate his interpretation power in a dramatic role, shooting a feature film as main character for a European production. His first film as leading role is “Beehaad”, a Bollywood blockbuster whose premiere was performed on March 17, 2013.

LOCALIZACIONES

    LOCATIONS

Durante los últimos años hemos recorrido el sur de India buscando las localizaciones naturales para la película. La historia se desarrollará en tres paisajes diferentes y consecutivos, acordes con el espíritu dramático escrito en el guión. El film comenzará en el paisaje verde de Pondicherry y alrededores, continuará en parajes entre húmedos y pedregosos de Gingee y alrededores y terminará en terrenos secos en las regiones del sur de Andhra Pradesh y Karnataka. Es decir, habrá una transición en el paisaje, del vergel al principio, a lo desértico al final de la película.

In the last year we have been travelling across South India looking for natural locations for the film. The story will take place in three different and consecutive landscapes, in agreement to the dramatic spirit on the script. The film begins in the green landscape's area of Pondicherry, will continue in wet and rocky places between Gingee and around this village and, at the end, we will shoot in the dry southern regions of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. There will be a transition in the landscape, from the lush green field at the beginning to the desert at the end of the film.

Localizaciones/ Locations “Indian Way”

PLAN DE RODAJE

    SHOOTING PLAN

Hemos planificado un rodaje en India de 45 días (6 semanas, 6 días a la semana). Tendremos 4 diferentes bases de operaciones en 4 ciudades/pueblos distintos: al inicio de rodaje en Pondicherry (1ª y 2ª semana), a continuación en Gingee (3ª semana), la siguiente en Kholar (4ª semana) y finalmente en la ciudad de Bangalore (5ª semana). Seremos un equipo técnico y artístico de unas 25-30 personas, con tres coches, una furgoneta y un minibús para los desplazamientos.

 

We have planned a shooting plan of 45 days (6 weeks, 6 days a week). We will have 4 different shooting bases in 4 different cities / towns.



At the start of the filming we will be in Pondicherry (1st and 2nd week), then in Gingee (3rd week), then in Kholar (4th week) and finally in the city of Bangalore (5th week). We will be a technical and artistical team of about 25-30 people, with three cars, a van and a minibus to travel.
